IITKgp students’ startup wins $1 m at the Rice University Competition

IIT Kharagpur students’ startup BetaGlide, a cloud-based app testing platform has won $1 million prize at the Rice University Business Plan Competition. The prize money was sponsored by seed-stage venture capital firm Mercury Fund.  BetaGlide offers a mobile app testing platform that allows developers to gather information in real-time about the system usage and the behavior of their app- to improve its stability and performance.

Co-founded by IITKgp students Anshul Singhle and Amritanshu Anand, the mobile-based startup was also one of the 9 picked up by Times Internet Incubator TLabs in 2013.
