I feel proud to be taught chemistry by prof. CNR Rao at IIT Kanpur during my b tech. Chem 1964-69. There was uniqueness in delivery of his class lecture.

Yes he is great . I fondly remeber him giving lecture in L 7 on chemistry during the year 1975. 38 years have gone by but the memory endures……
It is not a question of only politicians not providing fund . We consciously discourage innovation in all walk of life.
People simply laugh at any innovative idea. They feel threatened by the person giving innovative ideas .

My hearty Congratulations to Prof.C.N.R.Rao on conferring `Bharat Ratna` .I still remember the good old days at IIT,Delhi in Jan,68,Dr.C.N.R.Rao came very casually in the middle of the lecture at the Conference and politely asked me whether he can sit beside me,though I was only 20 years old then and student of Dr.V.Ramakrishna,in Chemistry dept., doing M.Sc.That shows his Greatness and humility. We pray God for his long life.
